Celebrating Access Ceremony

Are you graduating in 2018? Save the date: April 18th from 5PM-7PM in Reitz G320.

The DRC is excited to celebrate students with disabilities graduating in 2018. To honor these upcoming graduates, recognize important disability allies, and celebrate accessibility, we invite upcoming graduates and their guests to attend our Celebrating Access Ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions

The DRC’s Celebrating Access Ceremony is a night to celebrate your accomplishments and your upcoming graduation. We value disability as an important part of diversity and hope to include as many graduates as possible in our ceremony.

This event will consist of two parts: a dinner sponsored by the DRC and a ceremony following the dinner to honor graduating students.

Students graduating in 2018 who identify as having a disability are welcome to attend and be honored in the ceremony. Graduates can bring up to 3 guests and should RSVP to the ceremony at the link below.

The DRC has also invited UF campus partners to celebrate our upcoming graduates.

Nope! The Celebrating Access Ceremony will be held on April 18th and is a supplemental ceremony to celebrate you and your accomplishments. Please be sure to visit the commencement website for more information on the graduation process:
No caps and gowns will be necessary for this ceremony! You are welcome to dress in whatever is most comfortable for you.
